Mike Halsall is a strategic consultant with over 35 years’ experience in real estate, technology, government, and academia. In the built environment, he has delivered projects for the UK Home Office and the Ministry of Defence.
He founded the Emerging Technology Radar alongside the UK Government, and has worked on innovation and forecasting projects with partners including NASA and the U.S Government’s IARPA programme. With Singularity University, he established Grand Challenge competitions that enabled young entrepreneurs to access finance, and mentors, in Silicon Valley, CA.
He is currently a Founding Director of the CHERI Alliance CIC, a UK community interest company promoting the adoption of hardware-level security developed at Cambridge University and SRI International with support from DARPA, UKRI, Arm, and Google. He serves at the COO of CommonAI CIC and CommonAI Compute Co.
